We have had the upportunity to lease this great stallion from Sandy Andersson at Thistledown Stud for 2011 season.
He is still a young stallion but have already sired winning stock. Two of them are Thistledown Arctic Wind, big winner 2009 season, sold at the Fayre Oaks for £4000 and Rotherwood Riviera Gold, Championfoal at Cheshire County and 1st at Great Yorkshire.
Tuscanys Sire, Lemonshill Hylight, was Youngstock Champion at Royal Welsh, Reserv Champion Sec B International Show in Peterborough and 1st at Glanusk, to name a few.
He is fullbrother to Lemonshill Limelight, Royal Welsh Champion.
He was successful under saddle aswell and won many Championships before sold to Mr and Mrs Johnsson of the Stoak Stud where he sired lots of winning stock and stayed until his death 2010.
Tuscanys Dam, Stoak Taffetta, has been a valuable broodmare for the Stoak Stud, three of her progenys are fullsiblings Stoak Tuscany, Stoak Tyrol and Stoak Tabitha, all winners at the Royal Welsh and many other major shows.
Taffetta herself was shown succuessfully as a youngster by Colin Tibbey.
Tuscany is a beautiful stallion, full of quality and substanse with a top class pedigree. He has a great conformation and good bone, lovely front and head and is a very good mover.
He is shown very successfully as a two and three year old, many times Silver and Bronze medal winner.
